Lets go for it!

Manger Charlie Forkner is looking forward to the start of the new season, "I can't wait for it" he said, "we havn't been able to have many pre-season games but we're starting to get used to playing on bigger pitches."
This will be the stars' first season as a 11-a-side outfit but the manger says his players are more than capable, "We are a great team from front to back, which helps in football. We shouldn't fear any team in our league and should be pushing for promotion this season. Every player is more than capable of doing a job for the team. We have alot to learn still and I'm sure the lads will try their best to listen and learn. We need to remember about attacking and defending as a team, sometimes we will need to dig deep and show that desire i know the lads have."
The stars kick off the new season with a home game against Carterton Colts on Saturday 11th with a KO time of 10:30am.
"We will be looking for a positive start and get the season rolling, LETS GO FOR IT!"
