TOWER HILL 3 HARWELL & HENDRED 3 IN THE U14'S A LEAGUE
10:15pm Sunday 14th February 2010

In an end to end contest, Tower & Harwell & Hendred gained a point each in an excellent competitive game.

It was the first meeting of the season for both teams and in the early stages both sides could have took an early lead with Jacob Hughes and Yassin Elouahabi both unlucky for Tower with their efforts. Harwell & Hendred also had an early chance but could not find the net. Tower then produced an excellent move with Jacob Hughes hitting the cross-bar but then found themselves 1-0 down with a goal from Jordan Lyne. Tower pushed hard for an equalizer and Luke Turner duly obliged to make the half time score 1-1.

The second half was end to end with Harwell & Hendred once again taking the lead with a goal from Ross Macdonald only for Harry Cornforth to equalize for Tower. Jordan Lyne then scored his second for Harwell & Hendred to set up an exciting finish. Edward Priest headed just over for Tower but the equalizer was not far away with Jacob Hughes finishing after an excellent cross from Jamie Harris to make the final score 3-3.

This was an entertaining game with the right result as neither team deserved to lose.
