Sun 01 Oct 2006  League
Bolehall FC 2
Keith Avery (1)
Wayne Clare (1)
Drayton Manor Youth 3

Sunday 1st October Bolehall FC hosted Drayton Manor Youth in what was their 6th home game so far this season.

Hopeing for their first league win of the season Bolehall started brightly, Daz Rogers and Wayne Clare both hustling well to set up Keith Avery to hit a left footed drive into the bottom corner.

What was to be the perfect start for Bolehall did not last long as within minutes of the restart, hesitation from Bolehall's keeper Pete let in Sharpe to neatly finish.

Manor took the lead after Gatsby latched onto a through ball and poked it past Bolehall's despairing keeper.

Bolehall struck back minutes later with a Wayne Clare netbuster from 25 yards.

Just before the break Gatsby again latched onto a through ball and finished emphatically.

After some stern words at half time Blehall came out the more determined, but alas although they threw the kitchen sink and a supporter and his dog at Manor for the whole of the second half their was to be no equaliser and the game finished 3-2 to Manor.

A good hard game played in the right spirit.
Bolehall still without a league victory this season.
